Money talks is not only required it's a necessity, a necessary conversation required in every household.


Why? Your money habits will either make you or break you as it determines your financial success.


Where do I start if I want to change my money habits and build wealth? By managing your money.


Money management is one of the most important aspect of wealth building next to having a positive and abundance money mindset. It's not about the money you make but how much money you keep.


There are three things that we will look at in this article about money; your beliefs, your attitude and your habits. Your beliefs about money is what helps you to attract, repel or accumulate money.


How do you see money? Good or evil? How you view money relates to your beliefs.


You may have negative unconscious beliefs about money that was developed from your environment, not all money beliefs are equal. It doesn't matter how you view money, everything about how about you save, spend and sow your money comes from your belief. Before you can have any real success with money you have to control your money mindset which aligns with your beliefs.


How you think about money has a lot to do with how you make or keep money. When you master your mind you change your beliefs and you will begin to see a change in your money routine and the way you make money or keep it.


Your attitude towards money is a money breaker; you either want it or you don't. If you are upbeat and have a positive mental attitude about your finances you are likely to become financially successful. Your mental attitude is connected to your money attitude which is tied to your spending, savings and investment strategy's.

Money is a medium of exchange and that's it period. It's a tool and it can do nothing on it' s own unless it's given a purpose.


Many people fear money but yet deserving of money. If you desire money you can't be afraid of it. Worrying about money sends toxic negative signals to your brain, instead of having more you repel it because you are coming from a place of stress and lack. The most emotional relationship you will ever have is your 'money relationship" from the lack of it, the lust of it, to squandering, fearing and feeling depressed about it.


What money habits do you have? Are you a spender, easily triggered by money bad spending habits? Are you saver, you stash away money and save for rainy days or any unforeseen expenses? Are you a savvy investor, you are learning about financial tools that can help you to build wealth? Mastering your money is the art of good money habits and all of this is tied to your beliefs and your attitudes.


If you are struggling with your money goals and want to get ahead here are a few money habits to help you manage your money and have your money work for you.

  1. Be blunt about your money situation, write down your financials goals and make sure it's a realistic plan.

  2. Live like how you earn not what you would like people to believe

  3. Stash 10% of you earnings every month for yourself as savings, 20% as investments and 10% for sowing. You can't reap a harvest unless you sow.

  4. Always be grateful for what you have not what someone else has and stay in a state of gratitude.

  5. If your expenses over exceeds your income then you need a side hustle to generate more income or a way to increase your business income to cover the expenses and give you more money.

  6. Create a realistic budget and monitor what's coming in and going out. If you can't track it you can't monitor it.

Sir Francis Bacon once said "Money is a good servant but a bad master". You must become the master of your money not a slave to it to build wealth and become financially independent and free.
